Form

PRIMARY SOLIDS

Shapes such ar squares, circles and triangles are extended or rotated to form solids such as spheres and cylinders(circles), cones and pyramid (triangles) and cubes(squares)

A cylinder is formed by the extension
of circles.

DIMENSIONAL TRANSFORMATION

A form created by changing the dimensions of the original form such as a cube.


The origin of the rectangular shape is a cube and by altering the dimensions the form changed.

SUBTRACTIVE FORM



The subtraction or removing of shapes from a form to create a new form.

Squares are removed from this rectangular form.

ADDITIVE FORM


A new form is created by adding the same or different shapes together. Some ways this is accomplished are Centralized forms, radial form and grid form.

A curved grid form (a rotated grid) can be seen on this building.

FORMAL COLLISION OF GEOMETRY


Formal collision is achieved by colliding forms together either by a circle and square or by a rotated grid. Some ways this collision can be done are linked, encompassing and interlocking.
